Which Premiership club is most likely to be defeated by a lower league club? Please give reasons.
Here's what I think:
- Sheff Utd v Swansea - Atmosphere should be electric and Swansea will cause United problems but the Premiership side should go through.
- Reading v Burnley - Reading are playing very well at the moment and are full of goals. Burnley are struggling and will be short of confidence, home win.
- Doncaster v Bolton - New stadium, sell out, what an occasion. However Bolton's physical side always makes them favourites against lower league opposition.
- West Ham v Brighton - Well then, we saw Charlton loose at home to Wycombe a couple of weeks ago so surely Brighton have a decent chance at Upton Park. However I think West Ham will do enough to win the match.
Leicester v Fulham - potential upset here, Leicester beat Tottenham last year and Fulham don't tend to win away. I think this will end in a draw.
- Sheff Wed v Man City - A real chance for in form Wednesday here. Hillsborough will be rocking and my moneys on a victory for the Championship side. I voted for this match.
- Nottm For v Charlton - Forest are going through a rough patch and Charlton are just starting to come good. However this is a one of game and we know Forest have real quality. It will be difficult for Charlton who will settle for a draw and I think they will avoid defeat.
- Cardiff v Tottenham - Cardiff are out of form but Tottenham don't win away, I think this one could be a classic. However I think Tottenham will scrape it.
- Watford v Stockport - Surely Watford will win this one, they have been unlucky in recent matches and should cruise past Stockport.
- Hull v Middlesbrough - Hull are finding form and Middlesbrough are unpredictable. This one could go either way and I'm sitting on the fence.
- Birmingham v Newcastle - Both teams are in form, Newcastle are of a higher quality but Birmingham have home advantage. I'm going for Newcastle.
- Chelsea v Macclesfield - If Chelsea don't win this one I will run down my street naked shouting "Ive got a bigger one than you!"
